On the afternoon of December 9, Mr. Cui Hongquan, author of Hands-on IoT Security Vulnerability Mining and General Manager of Suzhou Xinrui Network Technology Co., Ltd., was invited as a guest to our university's chat salon, delivering a themed lecture on the path to IoT security. Faculty and students from the School of Cyberspace Security and other related colleges attended the lecture. The event was hosted by Du Yao, Deputy Party Secretary of the School of Cyberspace Security.
Mr. Cui first discussed the current development status and importance of IoT security today. He then provided an insightful and accessible analysis of the current market trends and talent gap in IoT security, outlining the future development prospects for the IoT security industry.
Next, he detailed practical technologies and analytical approaches to IoT security from various aspects including software and hardware security, protocol security, and operating system security. He emphasized the importance of developing practical skills in security as early as possible and honing one's abilities through hands-on practice.
This lecture on "Exploring the Path to IoT Security" closely focused on IoT security. On one hand, it systematically elaborated on the concepts and essence of IoT security, offering a forward-looking perspective on the industry.
